The Weld Stub are available in the following sizes: NW 10, NW 16, NW 25, NW 40, NW 50.
The KF (NW) flange is used for through -or foreline vacuum plumbing and for simple HV chamber ports.
The Weld Stub are made out of Stainless Steel.
Half nipples feature one KF flange.
Vacuum Weld Sock Flange
KF (also referred to as NW) assemblies consist of two Flanges, a Center-Ring and an aluminum Clamp. Clamps are assembled with wing nuts to insure ease of use over time without tools. A uniform application of pressure on the clamp insures a vacuum seal. The mating flange surfaces compress the O-Ring, which is held in place by a metal centering ring, to generate the vacuum seal.
